Karl Mayer holds the title of being the market and technology leader and will be travelling, as always, to ITMA, after having made the best preparations ever. Karl Mayer is aiming to show seven new warp knitting machines in Milan, as well as new warp-knitted textiles, ideas for the after-sales sector and innovative warp preparation solutions ´ all under the company´s motto of ´We care about your future´.

At the Lacom stall, one can, with the help of the team of experts and the Lacom products, experience cutting-edge ideas and state-of-the-art technologies of one of the world´s leading suppliers of laminating and coating machines. Lacom will introduce during the ITMA show a new generation of laminating and coating machines for the treatment of flexible substrates.

Over the last few years, Gneuss´ MRS extruder has established itself as one of the key technologies for processing of engineering polymers without pre-drying. Although originally developed specifically for PET, the MRS is now also running in polyolefin and nylon applications, and testing with other materials promises many more applications in the future.

ITMA 2015 will be held at the Fiera Milano Rho from 12 to 19 November 2015, which will showcase end-to-end solutions for the entire textile and garment making chain. The exhibition has a gross size of over 2,00,000 sq m and over 1,500 exhibitors from 47 economies promise to launch innovations galore.

I remember a presentation I made in China last June, where I proudly claimed that Indian textile industry would be well off even with less purchase of cotton and yarn by China. We all were buzz with optimism and were ranting the Indian consumption story.

For the affected customers, the question of the optimal design of their spinning mill in relation to the degree of automation and flexibility therefore still continues to be raised. Both factors have a significant influence on the investment sum and the associated capital costs over the depreciation period.

True to the motto ´standstill is a step backwards´, a successful card model such as the C 70 will also be further improved. Further development is based on customer and market requirements as well as the technical progress of the technology and machine components.
