KCT-TIFAC CORE in Textile Technology & Machinery of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore jointly with the Department of Fashion Technology organised a short-term training programme on ´Woven CAD´ on August 7 at KCT, exclusively for the benefit of students from textile institutions, technicians working in weaving industry, designers working in apparel industries.

Recently, the 5th International Textile Conference at SSM College of Engineering, Komarapalayam, Erode was organised jointly with the Textile Association (India), Erode unit. The theme of the conference was ?Emerging Trends in Textile Industry: New Innovations 2015´. Subhash Bhargava, Technocrat and MD, Colorant Ltd, was the Special Guest of Honour and Dr NN Mahapatra, Vice President, Business Development was the keynote speaker.
