Karl Mayer holds the title of being the market and technology leader and will be travelling, as always, to ITMA, after having made the best preparations ever. Karl Mayer is aiming to show seven new warp knitting machines in Milan, as well as new warp-knitted textiles, ideas for the after-sales sector and innovative warp preparation solutions ´ all under the company´s motto of ´We care about your future´. The dates of ITMA are always marked in red on Karl Mayer´s business calendar.

´All our innovative customers worldwide have said that they intend to visit our stand,´ says Oliver Mathews, the Sales Director of Karl Mayer´s Warp Knitting Business Unit, who is looking forward to a successful ITMA 2015. ´Our visitors can expect some technical systems that will definitely give them the edge in their business fields. Our exhibits will highlight our company as a supplier of solutions of maximum benefit to our customers and emphasise our position as a market and technology leader,´ says Oliver Mathews.

This experienced market expert and his team of sales managers and textile specialists are looking forward to having some interesting conversations with their global business partners. These dialogues should consolidate their knowledge of trends and market requirements, enable them to present their company´s innovative products and services, and work with their visitors to develop new solutions in their business fields.

With its latest innovations and the chance to exchange ideas with experts, Karl Mayer´s stand will quickly become a meeting point for the warp knitting and warp preparation industry at this year´s ITMA as well.

Meanwhile, it is imperative to recall how Karl Mayer highlighted its leading position at ShanghaiTex a few months ago. The plan of most of the visitors specialising in warp knitting and warp preparation at this year´s ShanghaiTex was to go and see what Karl Mayer was exhibiting first. The stand of this renowned manufacturer in the Knitting & Hosiery Machinery Zone in hall W1 was eye-catching, even from some distance away. Huge lights made from textile-covered tubes poured light in an alternating play of colours onto an 600 m2 area where the machines, décor islands, partitioned areas for holding discussions, and meeting points were all located. The stand, with its exclusive anthracite colour scheme stood out effectively from the mainly white stands of the other exhibitors ´ a futuristic design that was saying: high-tech systems are on show here.

More specifically, Karl Mayer was showing in Shanghai the new TM 4 TS EL terry warp knitting machine for processing spun yarns, an HKS 4-M with an even better cost:benefit ratio than the previous model, and the MJ 59/1 S – a Jacquardtronic® Lace machine with a special bar configuration. Karl Mayer was also showing its sizing technology for the warp preparation sector.

An open-house event held at Karl Mayer (China) on the second day of the fair was showcasing more market-oriented production technology. KARL Mayer´s subsidiary in Changzhou City was hosting a machine show and demonstrating two double-bar raschel machines, the RD 7/2-12 EN and the RDJ 5/1. An MJ 59/1 B, with a working width of 210", was also demonstrating its performance features.
