EBITDA margin for the first half stood at 7.4 per cent versus 7.0 per cent, while Revenue from Operations stood at Rs 7.45 billion compared to Rs 8.30 billion in the same period of last fiscal.

Vishal Fabrics Limited (VFL) today announced its financial results for the second quarter and first half year ended September 30, 2026. The Company reported Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 100.6 million in Q2 FY27 as against Rs 80.8 million in Q2 FY26, rising 21 per cent YoY. EBITDA margin for Q2 FY27 improved to 7.9 per cent from 6.8 per cent in the same period of last fiscal. Revenue from Operations stood at Rs 3.66 billion compared to Rs 4.33 billion in Q2 FY26.

For the first half year ended September 30, 2026, PAT rose by 5 per cent to Rs 170.7 million compared to Rs 160.9 million in H1 FY26. EBITDA margin for the first half stood at 7.4 per cent versus 7.0 per cent, while Revenue from Operations stood at Rs 7.45 billion compared to Rs 8.30 billion in the same period of last fiscal.

Commenting on the performance, Dharmesh Dattani, Chief Financial Officer – Vishal Fabrics Limited, said, “Sustained focus on efficiency and cost discipline was the key trigger behind a 21 per cent rise in our PAT this quarter. Our operating margin expanded by over 100 basis points to 7.9 per cent, reflecting tighter raw material management and a leaner cost structure. Despite a softer demand environment, we chose to prioritise quality of earnings over volume. In the second half of FY27, we will continue to focus on operational efficiency, value-added product offerings and new geographies for growth, deepening our presence in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Bangladesh. We remain bullish on the long-term opportunity for the Indian textile industry and are well-positioned to deliver sustainable value to our shareholders.”

The Board also approved the appointment of Ravindra Bajranglal Bajaj as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 3, 2026. Bajaj has served as Whole-Time Director of the Company since May 2019 and brings around 36 years of experience across the textile value chain, including spinning of cotton and synthetic yarns, fabric production, knitted apparel and plant operations.
