Daur Apna Hai highlights Indians making a global impact.

Denim brand Spykar has announced a special Republic Day social media campaign that celebrates Indians who have put the country on the global map through their achievements. Part of the brand’s nationwide initiative Daur Apna Hai, the campaign highlights stories of ambition, resilience and individuality through a three-film digital series.

The campaign features motocross champion Rustom Kersi Patel, parapistol shooter Srishti Arora and international dancer and choreographer Mohan Pandey, each representing a facet of modern India’s self-made and determined spirit. Through their personal journeys, the films draw a parallel between India’s rise on the global stage and Spykar’s evolution as a homegrown denim brand.

The first film traces the journey of Rustom Kersi Patel, who began racing at the age of six and became the youngest Indian to participate in an official motocross event in 1985. Now an eight-time national champion with more than 275 trophies, Patel reflects on overcoming challenges and his transition into coaching Team India.

The second film follows para-athlete Srishti Arora, charting her rise in competitive shooting from district and national tournaments to representing India internationally. She speaks about discipline and mental strength in a precision-driven sport and recalls a key milestone in March 2024, when she first donned the India jersey at the New Delhi World Cup, followed by medal-winning performances at international events, including in Korea.

The third film spotlights Mohan Pandey, who played a pivotal role in taking Indian street dance to global platforms. He reflects on building opportunities at a time when street dance had limited recognition in India and highlights representing the country at international competitions such as World of Dance and the Hip Hop International World Championships.

Commenting on the initiative, Sanjay Vakharia, CEO and Co-Founder, Spykar, said the campaign reflects India’s evolution and celebrates individuals who succeeded despite the odds, embodying the Daur Apna Hai mindset.

Through this campaign, Spykar reinforces its message of confidence, self-expression and pride, aligning the journeys of Indian changemakers with the brand’s own story of authenticity and growth.
