Global leaders to discuss innovation, sustainability, and geopolitics in textiles.

The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit, will host its international conference, “TEXTILES 2030 – Navigating Geopolitics, Technology Innovations and Global Expectations,” on Friday, 30 January 2026 at Hotel The Lalit, Mumbai. The event aims to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and academicians to explore strategies for sustainable growth and strategic self-reliance in India’s textile sector.

Key topics will include global trade realignment, regulatory transitions, process and materials innovation, sustainability initiatives, and leadership strategies for the coming decade. A notable highlight is an all-women panel discussion—the first of its kind at an Indian textile conference—underscoring the growing influence of women leaders in the industry.

The conference is expected to host around 400 distinguished participants, providing a platform for in-depth discussions and high-value networking with experts from across the globe. Speakers and panelists will showcase cutting-edge developments, reflecting the Association’s tradition of selecting contemporary and forward-looking topics for its events.

The Mumbai Unit, the largest chapter of The Textile Association (India) with approximately 4,000 members, has a strong reputation for organizing events of both national and global significance. Its initiatives consistently aim to foster knowledge sharing, innovation, and leadership in the textile and apparel sector.

Topics covered at the conference will include geopolitics and global textile realignments, materials and process innovation, global sustainability initiatives, and women leadership driving change in the textile and apparel industry.

The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit invites stakeholders to join the event and contribute to shaping the future of India’s textile ecosystem, making “TEXTILES 2030” a landmark platform for dialogue, innovation, and industry advancement.
