The flagship company of Trident Group, Trident Limited, has inaugurated the world´s largest terry towel pant on 7 October 2014. On the same day, the company also laid the foundation stone of its composite textile project in Budni, Madhya Pradesh. The occasion was graced by the presence of Chief Minster of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minster for Revenue and Rehabilitation, Government of Madhya Pradesh Rampal Singh.
After the economic slowdown of 2008-09 in which the global textile industry lost much of its steam, there came a whiff of fresh air in the industry last year. But again the uncertainty persisted for some time till the new Government at the Centre gave some hopes a few months back.
