INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has recognised Thomas W Federle, Ph.D., Research Fellow at Procter & Gamble, with its prestigious 2015 Lifetime Technical Achievement Award. This award is given to individuals with long established technical careers in the nonwovens industry and technical innovation.

While Malaysia´s textile and apparel industry may be facing fierce competition from low-cost suppliers in Asia and elsewhere, the country´s technical textile industry shows inclination towards tapping the export opportunities inherent in developed countries.
