The agreement will strengthen Safran’s supply chain and expand Kusumgar’s aerospace business.

Kusumgar, an India-based manufacturer of technical fabrics, has signed a long-term supply agreement with Safran, a global aerospace company, to strengthen their collaboration in aerospace applications.

The agreement will support Safran’s supply chain requirements and ongoing production programmes while providing Kusumgar with opportunities to expand its presence in the aerospace sector.

The partnership reflects Safran’s focus on strengthening its supplier network through collaborations with industrial partners capable of meeting the quality requirements of aerospace manufacturing.

For Kusumgar, the agreement represents an opportunity to strengthen its position in the specialised technical textiles segment and expand its business with an established international aerospace manufacturer.

The long-term collaboration is expected to support Kusumgar’s growth in aerospace applications while contributing to Safran’s production and supply chain operations.

The companies have not disclosed the agreement’s financial value, supply volumes or contract duration.
