Rabatex is pioneer in manufacturing state of art warp preparatory machinery / fabric sampling solutions / material handling and storage equipment / ASRS (Vertical Lift Module) and enjoys major market share in India as well as global markets in more than 36 countries across globe.
Key markets in which Rabatex witnessed higher growth include USA, Canada, Turkey, Russia, South Africa, Bangladesh, Ukraine and Indonesia etc.
What were the key challenges in FY23?
The few challenges are listed below:

  • Increasing or unstable raw material costing as well as import cost hike up due to Rupee depreciation towards Dollar.
  • Government policy, importing of sub-standard machineries from China and used machineries from Europe.
  • Delay in reimbursement of approved TUF file payment as well as non-clarity on Indecisive government policies about TUF/ATUF/subsidies.

How did you manage to grow in spite of the challenges?
With our clear goal of achieving complete customer satisfaction, we have achieved a remarkable 43 per cent rate of repeat orders and experienced growth ranging from 19 to 22 per cent over the past two years.
What were your standout achievements in FY23?
Rabatex displayed new product launch during India ITME 2022 as well as ITMA 2023. The new product has a very good acceptance in both domestic and global market with good order ratio.
What is your current assessment of India’s textile industry?
Considerable room for enhancement remains within the realm of producing technical textile products tailored to various industrial sectors. The ongoing challenge faced by user industries, marked by fluctuations in raw material prices and the influx of cost-effective imports from foreign sources, needs to be effectively addressed to support the growth of the Indian textile industry.
What is the global standing of the Indian textile? How can India become more competitive globally?
One plus policy favours Indian machineries manufacturers with good quality and sustainable products have wide scope in global market. Indian manufacturer need to ensure expected quality standard as well as advanced product supply.
Are the government policies to boost the industry’s growth working on the ground? What else should the government do to propel growth?
Indeed, government policies exhibit promise, yet they must be structured in a manner that ensures their effectiveness and accessibility for all enthusiastic manufacturers. This entails reducing complexities in obligations and adopting a practical approach that aligns with the long-term objectives of the Make in India initiative.
What kinds of trends are you seeing in the market at present? How is your company gearing up to tap these trends?
Industry is accepting the advantages of automation at large and switching to automated version for better quality and productivity. In tune to the trend, Rabatex is offering advance version of machineries for the end user with continuous development features. Huge demand of various technical textile products encouraging more new industries or diversification from normal apparel fabric production And Rabatex is developing and supplying customised machineries to the end user with best suitability and productivity backed by 100 per cent satisfaction to customer.
What are your expectations & growth plans for FY24?
Rabatex will have steady sustainable growth and will have manufacturing capacity expansion to meet up the requirement of delivering the customer machineries in best possible time frame. Continuous development with feedback from user will always drive Rabatex business ahead and adding new products to the product basket will keep providing pace to Rabatex’s growth. With product quality being substantiated and gaining widespread acceptance in the global market, the consistent growth in global business volume is leading to a substantial expansion of our global presence.
