In-store innovations include Cotflex (4-way stretch), Matpiq (matte-soft finish), TechnoGuard, and UPF 50+ protection.

TechnoSport, India’s fastest-growing activewear brand, has announced the launch of its first Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The 2,200 sq ft store, located on Kolhapur’s high street, becomes the brand’s 16th outlet nationwide and its 3rd in Maharashtra, reinforcing the state’s importance in TechnoSport’s retail expansion strategy.

Kolhapur, a city celebrated for its deep sporting culture and wrestling legacy, also has a rich tradition of producing champions in football, bodybuilding, and shooting. Building on this heritage, TechnoSport is bringing its innovative and accessible performance wear to fitness enthusiasts and everyday consumers in the city.

As TechnoSport scales its EBO-first retail strategy, Maharashtra remains a core focus with multiple new outlets in the pipeline. Nationally, the brand is well on track to achieve its target of 50 EBOs across India by year-end, further strengthening its position as the country’s most dynamic homegrown activewear label.

Speaking on the launch, Puspen Maity, CEO, TechnoSport, said, “We felt it was the right time to bring TechnoSport here because cities like Kolhapur represent the new frontier of India’s fitness movement. Today’s consumers in these markets are as aspirational and quality-conscious as those in metros, and they seek world-class activewear that matches their evolving lifestyle. For us, opening in Kolhapur is more than just a retail milestone, it’s about being accessible where the passion for fitness is growing fastest. Maharashtra is one of our strongest markets, and with Kolhapur, we’re confident of building a closer connection with consumers across western India while driving our larger goal of making performance-driven activewear accessible to every Indian.”

Collection Highlights: The new outlet showcases TechnoSport’s best-selling activewear collections, powered by the brand’s signature in-house fabric innovations. Shoppers can experience Cotflex, a fabric engineered with 4-way stretch and memory function that ensures lasting comfort and flexibility, along with TechnoDry, designed for enhanced moisture management and quick-drying performance. The collection also features Matpiq, a fabric that balances a soft hand feel with a refined matte texture, making it ideal for both workouts and everyday wear. To further elevate performance and protection, TechnoSport integrates advanced technologies such as Technocool+ for enhanced cooling, TechnoGuard for antimicrobial freshness, and UPF 50+ sun protection, which safeguards athletes and everyday users alike.
