The latest addition to the programme, entitled The most disruptive technologies in high-performance nonwoven applications: forecast to 2028, Smithers Pira (UK), will examine developments over this 10-year period, including disruptive process technologies, for example predictive analytical process control and single step resin to product manufacturing; disruptive raw material technologies like microfibre and nanofibre spinning; and disruptive product technologies such as smart fabrics and controlled release technologies.
Advances in various areas offer a promise of market growth in high-performance nonwoven sectors, several of which reflect the content of other presentations on the programme, delivering a cohesive structure throughout 21 presentations over two days.
