Gadiyar will lead TechnoSport’s overall marketing, brand and customer growth strategy as the company enters its next phase of hyper growth.

TechnoSport, India’s largest activewear brand, today announced the appointment of Aditya Gadiyar as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately. In this strategic role, Aditya will lead TechnoSport’s overall marketing, brand and customer growth strategy as the company enters its next phase of hyper growth.

With over 18 years of experience, he has led businesses through pivotal phases of transformation by sharpening brand propositions, building new category narratives and aligning brand strategy with commercial outcomes.

Prior to joining TechnoSport, Aditya was Head of Marketing at Wildcraft, where he led the brand’s repositioning from functional “outdoor gear” to a lifestyle brand anchored in “readiness,” with year-round relevance, while building the entity’s house of brands architecture and scaling the D2C business.

Aditya began his career at Titan Company, where he went on to own the P&L for Titan Eyeplus House Brand Frames, leading the launch of Fastrack Frames.  Subsequently he moved to the jewellery division, Tanishq, where he led marketing for Mia, Solitaires and Consumer Offers, while repositioning Mia for the contemporary woman.

He has since played pivotal roles at reversing a multi-year decline for the flagship brand of VIP Industries, crafting the brand narrative and PR strategy for Lead School through its fund raise to Unicorn status and scaling the International Brands portfolio at Myntra,

In his new role, Aditya will be responsible for shaping TechnoSport’s long-term brand strategy and positioning, while strengthening the company’s marketing capabilities across digital, social media, CRM, consumer insights, retail and multi-channel. He will work closely with the leadership team across product, retail, e-commerce, sales and other business functions to build a more differentiated consumer brand and ensure marketing plays a stronger role in driving customer growth, revenue and long-term brand equity.

Speaking on the appointment, Puspen Maity, CEO, TechnoSport, said, “TechnoSport is entering an important phase of hyper growth, where building a strong and distinctive consumer brand will be critical to unlocking our next chapter. Aditya brings a rare combination of brand-building experience and commercial leadership, with a proven ability to transform businesses across categories and channels. His experience in building brands, scaling businesses and connecting marketing with measurable business outcomes makes him the right leader to help shape TechnoSport’s future.”

Aditya Gadiyar, Chief Marketing Officer, TechnoSport, said, “TechnoSport has built a strong foundation by democratising activewear for the Indian consumers, and the opportunity now is to build on that momentum with a sharper and more distinctive consumer proposition. I am excited to join the brand at this stage of its journey and work with the team to strengthen the brand experience across every consumer touchpoint, while building marketing as a meaningful driver of growth and long-term brand value.”

Aditya’s appointment marks a strategic addition to TechnoSport’s leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its consumer brand, while expanding its EBO presence to ~130 stores, its express format to 25 outlets, while chasing a revenue target of Rs 10 billion for FY27.
