The Government of India has extended the deadline for submitting applications under the PLI Scheme for Textiles to 31 December 2025, following an overwhelming response from industry stakeholders.
The extension provides prospective investors another opportunity to participate and benefit from the scheme, which covers sectors including Man-Made Fibre (MMF) Apparel, MMF Fabrics, and Technical Textiles. The move comes after a large number of applications were received during the latest round that began in August 2025.
