Chinese firm to set up lingerie factory in Bangladesh

Kaixi Fashion Bangladesh Co Ltd, a Chinese
textile company, has announced that it is going to invest an amount of $ 6
million in a lingerie manufacturing industry in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

As per the data,
this new factory is going to produce 24 million pieces of ladies intimate wear
every year and will also create over 2,000 jobs in the region. Kaixi Fashion
was established in 1995 and it owns a total of three subsidiaries naming
Shenzhen Kaixi Fashion Co. Ltd, Shantou Kaixi Lingerie Industrial Co. Ltd, and
Mayanmar Kaixi Lingerie Industrial Co. Ltd.

The product
range of the company is vast. It produces, sells, and distributes products like
bra, panties, traditional knitting lingerie, ‘invisible’ bra pads, and
straps.
