Since 1969, SABAR has been the only company in India that has been manufacturing complete range of spinning roll shop machines under one roof. Today, Sabar ranks among one of the world’s top manufacturers of spinning roll-shop machinery. It is not a surprise that the company has clientele in more than 25 countries across the globe.

The Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF) has completed three years and Prabhu Dhamodharan, its Secretary, smiles albeit a little cautiously when you ask him about its achievements since its founding by like-minded textile entrepreneurs. He emphasises that only MDs or CEOs are the members, and the meetings are attended by these men at the helm. “No deputation,” says Dhamodharan, who at the outset lays down clearly that ITF means business in every action it undertakes.

G Radhakrishnan, Managing Director of SKAAT Machine Works India Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore is an MBA Graduate with diverge knowledge in different sectors such as solar, medical and also in the field of textiles. During an interaction with ITJ team members – Karthik Muthuveeran and Sripathy B – during the recently-concluded Texfair 2017 event in Coimbatore, G Radhakrishnan says, “I’ve been reading ITJ since my college days and happy to say that ITJ plays an important role in making me a successful textile entrepreneur.”

Coimbatore-based Pranav Systems, which has been manufacturing micro dust extractors and power saving devices, believes in the concept of Make in India. The company’s Marketing Manager, S Shivaram, a B.Text in textiles from DKTE & MASTERS from the UK and the son of the Managing Director, brings in a loads of experience, which is required in this field. He says, “We are happy that our product is completely made in India and we want to promote India in the global market.”

Coimbatore-based Genn Controls India Private Limited believes in its vision of innovation through research, development and most recent technology to make the outcomes and establish the company growth in accordance with the value of customer.

With the full mechanisation of all parts of the process in the textile industry, power quality and its effects on the efficiency, quality of output have started gaining a lot of importance. There is also an increasing consciousness among unit operators and textile manufacturers to protect factory equipment, which can be adversely affected by sudden fluctuations and power failures. Downtime due to power failure is a threat to textile units that are supplying for global customers with tight deadlines and quality norms to meet.

JP Modatex, promoted by Jindas Pukhraj Jain, who has an experience in yarn trading and manufacturing since 1983, has successfully co-promoted Pukhraj Virchand / Samosaran Yarns Pvt Ltd, along with Rakesh Kumar Sharma (M.Tech), who has a strong background in yarn manufacturing and trading since 1986.
