The company will showcase new technologies supporting its Vision 2027 of a fully automated spinning mill.

Rieter will present its latest innovations in automation, digitisation and intelligent spinning technologies at ITM 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, as the company advances towards its Vision 2027 of the fully automated spinning mill.

With spinning mills facing growing pressure to improve stability, efficiency and responsiveness, Rieter said its ITM portfolio is designed to help customers enhance cost competitiveness while ensuring consistent yarn quality and reliable mill performance.

A key highlight this year is the first-time joint presence of Rieter and Barmag exhibiting side by side. The collaboration brings together Rieter’s long-standing expertise in spinning systems with Barmag’s capabilities in man-made fibre technologies, strengthening their combined offering across natural and synthetic fibre processing.

At ITM 2026, Barmag will showcase solutions spanning filament yarn, staple fibre and nonwoven production, along with technologies supporting the networked factory. Among its featured developments is the WINGS POY 2.0 semi-automated winding machine with an automatic string-up function. Barmag will also highlight the eFK EvoSmart manual texturing machine for energy-efficient yarn production, as well as Neumag’s EVOSteam process featuring two new upgrades.

Rieter’s exhibit will focus on step-by-step automation for ring and compact yarn production, including bale transport, automated can transport, and fully automatic packaging solutions such as steaming, palletising and labelling. In digitisation, Rieter will present ESSENTIAL modules that support data-based decision-making across mill operations.

The company will also introduce COMPACT4, a universal compacting solution designed to deliver high-quality compact yarn with improved flexibility, low maintenance and reduced energy consumption.

In combing preparation, Rieter will showcase the new OMEGAlap E 40, offering a production capacity of 800 kg/h—33 percent higher than its predecessor—while reducing energy consumption by 30 percent and compressed air usage by 63 percent.

Another major attraction will be the rotor spinning machine R 70, which increases productivity by 7 to 15 percent and enables high-speed processing of blends with large proportions of non-virgin material. The machine also reduces energy use by up to 10 percent through low-vacuum technology.

Rieter will further highlight its AI-enabled card C 81, featuring Carding Gap Control (CGC) and Trash Level Monitor (TLM), both also available as retrofit solutions.

The company will also present advancements in spinning recycled fibres, developed through collaborations with fibre manufacturers and partners to support circular textile production.

Rieter and its subsidiaries will exhibit at ITM 2026 from June 9 to 13 in Hall 7, Booth 702, alongside Barmag in Hall 7, Booth 704.
