The company showcases AI-led denim design, digital sampling and impact measurement tools.

Jeanologia is presenting its latest software innovations at PI Apparel Europe: The Fashion Technology Show, being held in London on March 30–31, demonstrating how artificial intelligence, digital design and sustainability data are reshaping product development in the fashion industry.

At the event, the company is focusing on two key areas driving change in apparel manufacturing—digital product development and environmental impact measurement—offering a glimpse into how brands can accelerate production while improving transparency and efficiency.

A major highlight is Billy, Jeanologia’s recently launched artificial intelligence solution developed specifically for denim design. The system is being showcased live at PI Apparel Europe, where visitors can see how it converts a garment image into a production-ready laser design within seconds.

Using a simple photograph, Billy analyses contrasts, creases and wear patterns, then automatically extracts the fabric design and converts it into an accurate laser file ready for industrial execution. Jeanologia said the process eliminates the need for manual retouching and significantly reduces the time traditionally required by skilled designers—often cutting hours or days of work into an instant workflow.

The company said Billy is not just a new tool but a step forward in linking inspiration, digital design and manufacturing into one streamlined process. The AI has been trained using thousands of real production designs developed through Jeanologia’s more than 25 years of experience in denim finishing and laser technology.

Alongside Billy, Jeanologia is also showcasing eDesigner, its digital platform that enables denim product development through hyper-realistic simulations. The software allows designers to visualise washes, refine effects and validate finishes in a virtual environment before physical production begins, helping reduce sample creation and shorten development timelines. It also supports collaboration between teams and suppliers to ensure design consistency.

In addition to digital development tools, Jeanologia is presenting its EIM (Environmental Impact Measuring) platform, which provides measurable data on water consumption, energy usage, chemical application and worker impact during garment finishing processes. The company said EIM enables brands and manufacturers to compare processes, track improvements and strengthen transparency and compliance efforts.

“The industry is moving towards a new model where creativity, efficiency, and sustainability must coexist within the same workflow,” said Carmen Silla, Marketing Director, Jeanologia. “Technology is what makes that integration possible.”

Jeanologia said its showcase at PI Apparel Europe reflects the broader shift towards data-driven decision-making in fashion, where digitalisation and measurable sustainability are becoming central to how products are designed, developed and evaluated.
