The brand plans to deepen its presence across Jharkhand through a cluster-based expansion strategy and grow its national network to approximately 130 EBOs by the end of FY27.

TechnoSport, India’s largest activewear brand, has announced the launch of its first Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in Jharkhand, located on the ground floor of Bindal Mall in Sonari, Jamshedpur. Spread across 2,200+ sq. ft., the store was inaugurated by Kumar Kushagra, Pankaj Kumar and Sahil Raj, bringing together prominent names from Indian and Jharkhand cricket. The launch takes TechnoSport’s national network to 66 stores and marks an important step in its expansion across Eastern India.

Jharkhand has emerged as an important market for TechnoSport, with the brand continuing to record strong growth through general trade in the state. Jamshedpur, one of Eastern India’s prominent industrial centres, is home to a growing base of young professionals, students, fitness enthusiasts and value-conscious consumers. The city’s active lifestyle culture, expanding organised retail ecosystem and increasing demand for functional and affordable activewear make it a natural fit for the brand’s retail strategy.

Demonstrating its long-term commitment to the state, TechnoSport partnered with the Jharkhand T20 League as title sponsor, supporting a structured platform for local cricketing talent and contributing to the region’s sporting ecosystem. Owned by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association the ‘Technosport Jharkhand T20 League’ is the state’s first official franchise-based T20 competition. Building on this association, the brand intends to strengthen its retail presence across high-potential cities in Jharkhand through a cluster-based expansion strategy.

Speaking on the launch, Puspen Maity, CEO, TechnoSport, said, “The Jamshedpur store marks an important milestone in our expansion across Eastern India. The city’s growing fitness culture and demand for high-quality, affordable activewear make it a strong market for TechnoSport. We look forward to building a closer connection with consumers here and using this launch as a platform for wider growth across Jharkhand.”

The Jamshedpur outlet showcases TechnoSport’s latest performance wear collections, designed for everyday training and all-day comfort. Suited to the city’s warm and humid climate, the assortment includes lightweight quick-dry training T-shirts, breathable polos, stretch joggers and shorts, along with products featuring anti-odour properties and enhanced durability.

As part of the launch, TechnoSport will engage Jamshedpur’s fitness community through marathon-related initiatives and partnerships with leading local gyms. The brand is targeting a national network of approximately 130 EBOs by the end of FY27.
