To promote technical textiles in the country, the Central government has approved the proposal for the creation of the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM) for a period of 4 years (2020-21 to 2023-24) with an outlay of Rs 1,480 crore, said Union Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani in Lok Sabha.
