The ceremony was attended by Trützschler’s owners, promoters, CEOs, officials from Trützschler India and Trützschler Germany, employees, and other dignitaries.

Trützschler India marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new manufacturing facility in Sanand GIDC, which was formally opened by the Chief Minister.

During the event, the company’s promoter stated that Trützschler aims to deliver high-quality products in textile machinery manufacturing. He remarked that the consistent trust and confidence shown by Indian customers over the years had motivated the company to become a dominant player in the Indian textile market and had inspired the establishment of this new plant.

In his inaugural address, Dr Schurrenkramer, promoter of the company, elaborated on Trützschler’s journey—from its inception to its growth and expansion in India. He extended his gratitude to the state government for its prompt facilitation and ongoing support in setting up the new facility.

The ceremony was attended by Trützschler’s owners, promoters, CEOs, officials from Trützschler India and Trützschler Germany, employees, and other dignitaries.

Trützschler’s Indian operations began in 1977 under the name “Trumac” in Ahmedabad. From 1981 to 1992, the company primarily focused on supplying blow room machines. The product portfolio expanded in 1992 with the inclusion of cards, followed by draw frames in 2002. A significant transition took place in 2009 when the company began supplying Trützschler series machines to the Indian market under the “Trützschler” brand. These advanced machines helped the company offer products and services that met global standards.

Today, “Trützschler India” not only manufactures machines of international quality but also independently manages project planning, sales, and nationwide service. The Sanand plant, spread across 36,000 square meters, has undergone substantial upgrades through investments in infrastructure, machinery, and processes to align with Trützschler’s “Global Production Strategy.”

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including high-speed laser cutting machines from Trumpf, CNC press brake from Weinbrenner, CNC roll bending machines, machining centers from Hueller Hille (MAG), turning centers from Magdeburg and Monforts, turn-mill centers from DMG and Mazak, and a new powder coating plant from GEMA, the facility has significantly enhanced its production capabilities. These upgrades have enabled the adoption of advanced manufacturing practices similar to those followed in Germany.

The card clothing division of TIPL is also well-equipped with flat top pin setting machines, grinding cylinders, and a profile wire line for rigid wire, which support the rising demand for TCC products both domestically and internationally.

Moreover, TIPL has adopted ‘Lean Manufacturing’ and the ‘5S’ system, improving material flow, enhancing productivity, and reducing waste. These efforts, combined with the implementation of quality circles, daily performance reviews, employee engagement, and cross-functional collaboration on the shop floor, have yielded remarkable results at all levels. Backed by ISO 9001:2008 certification, TIPL remains confident in its ability to meet future responsibilities and challenges.

Currently, TIPL operates in the Spinning Preparation and Card Clothing divisions, while also contributing to the Trützschler Group’s Nonwovens activities in India.
