Traders in Maharashtra will need to enrol on the Goods and Services Tax common portal from November 16 to 30. Traders need to log in with their current ID and password on the GST portal. They will then be given a new GST registration number, log in ID and password.

There are over eight lakh registered traders in the Maharashtra. The enrolment will be carried out in two phases. For those registered before August 2015, the registration must be done by November 30 and for the others it will be done thereafter. Around seven lakh traders will have to register by the month end.
