Tom Johnston, new sales manager at Picanol

Picanol of America has appointed Tom Johnston as new Sales Manager with immediate effect. In his new function, Johnston, who has wide international experience in the textile sector, will be responsible for the sales of Picanol weaving machines in the US. He graduated from Clemson University in 1987 and worked at the Milliken Judson Plant for two years. He later worked for Parkdale Mill for 18 years, 14 years as the Plant Manager. Afterwards Johnston developed a solid track record in the sales of weaving machines, with a strong focus on technical textiles.

Following the opening of our new headquarters in 2013, the appointment of Tom Johnston is further proof that Picanol of America now more than ever is committed to providing outstanding customer service, the exceptional levels of quality that Picanol is renowned for, high value, and rapid delivery to meet the needs of our customers from the American market.
