The appointment comes at a time when VIRGIO continues to scale through its differentiated operating model that combines demand-led production, responsible sourcing, and technology-led decision-making.

Fastest-growing sustainable fashion brand VIRGIO in India has announced the appointment of Hansa Nigam as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In her expanded role, she will lead the brand’s marketing and growth strategy as VIRGIO enters its next phase of growth.

Having played a pivotal role in shaping VIRGIO’s brand identity and consumer engagement since joining the company in 2023, Hansa’s expanded mandate will focus on strengthening the brand’s market presence, driving customer growth, and deepening VIRGIO’s positioning at the intersection of fashion, technology, and sustainability.

The appointment comes at a time when VIRGIO continues to scale through its differentiated operating model that combines demand-led production, responsible sourcing, and technology-led decision-making. As consumers increasingly seek brands that balance style, transparency, and purpose, marketing has become central to building long-term brand affinity and trust.

Prior to joining VIRGIO, Hansa built her career across brand strategy, digital marketing, and consumer growth. She has previously worked with OnePlus, where she led marketing initiatives for the OnePlus Nord portfolio across India and global markets, and at Glance, where she drove digital marketing for multiple celeb-led brands. Earlier, she worked in strategic planning at The Glitch, building brand strategy for leading consumer brands. This combination of global brand-building experience and startup execution has shaped her approach to creating culturally relevant marketing that delivers measurable business impact.

Commenting on her appointment, Hansa Nigam, Chief Marketing Officer, VIRGIO, said: “I’m honoured to take on this role at such an exciting stage in VIRGIO’s journey. Over the past few years, we’ve built a brand that is not just responding to how consumers shop today, but reimagining how fashion can be discovered, experienced, and produced. I’m excited to continue building on that momentum- creating marketing that inspires people, strengthens our community, and helps shape the future of conscious fashion.”

As VIRGIO continues to expand its footprint and strengthen its position as one of India’s fastest-growing sustainable fashion brands, Hansa’s elevation reflects the company’s continued investment in building a category-defining brand that combines innovation, technology, and responsible growth.
