Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat is all slated and geared up for a grand show in the form of Indian Textile Sourcing (ITS) exhibition (www.ITSExhibition.com) that is scheduled to take place from February 16 to 18, 2017.

KPR Mill, with its state-of-the-art production facilities in Tamil Nadu, produces yarn, knitted fabric, readymade garments and wind power. Now, the mill is set for expansion, with its garment capacity poised to go up by 36 million garments to cope up with the upsurge in market demand. This expansion will make the company one of the largest garment producing corporates in India.

The global yarn production increased in Q2/2016 quarter-on-quarter. Thereby, output in Asia, Europe and South America rose. On an annual basis, the global yarn production in Q2/2016 fell versus Q2/2015. Global yarn stocks fell in Q2/2016 quarter-on-quarter. Yarn stocks were reduced in Asia. In South America they increased. Year-on-year, global yarn stocks declined. Yarn orders in Europe fell quarter-on-quarter as well as year-on-year.

Yarn, Fabric and Accessories Trade Show 2016 will run from November 23-26, 2016 at the NSIC Exhibition Center Okhla, New Delhi. The special highlight of the YFA will be the Denim Zone. The zone will see 20 top Indian denim fabric makers exhibiting their denim innovations.
