Uster Technologies has announced plans for a phased evolution in key senior management positions. Progression to the next leadership generation will see Harold Hoke (vice-president, sales and service) and Walter Kiechl (the company’s chief officer in China), step back gradually, to foster a seamless transition over the next year.

It was the textile technology show with everything. From the USTER viewpoint, the recent ShanghaiTex 2015 was a multi-faceted success: important contracts concluded, new deals initiated, market insights, and more visitors for USTER, up 7 per cent on the previous edition. And, unfortunately, there was also more rain ´ heavy downpours which kept the overall attendance at ShanghaiTex 2015 somewhat below expectations.
The new head of Uster Technologies in China is Walter Kiechl, previously Managing Director of Jossi Systems AG and USTER´s Fiber Cleaning segment. He took up his new post as Chief Operating Officer for China on May 1, 2015, as a member of the Executive Management Team of Uster Technologies, reporting directly to CEO Dr Geoffrey Scott.
