In this interview, G Muralikrishna, Director, Fiberplus Tex Products, speaks on the company’s journey over the years, and some of the major products offered by them for the textile industry.

The journey of Karle International began in the 70s when India started exporting handloom/powerloom fabric to North America and Europe. Karle offered local dyed Madras plaids, which was accepted because after every wash, it started fading and went very well with denim pant.

Incorporated in July 2007, Advantage Organic Naturals Technologies Private Limited (AONTPL) was incubated in the prestigious IIT Delhi Campus, and owns three patents at USA, Europe & India and one more pending in India, “Method for dyeing a textile product using neem and holy basil extract”.

Will India be the next China? The debate is still on, while China is taking all necessary steps to keep its fortunes in textiles intact. Leave alone China! After attending the ITM Turkey a few weeks ago, the spotlight for some textile interested persons like me is now on Turkey and India.
