India ITME Society organised a networking dinner on November 16, 2015 at Milan to promote the opportunities in India for textile machinery manufactures. This programme was attended by industry members, associations and government officials from various countries.

In an interview with the ITJ team, Hardik Shah, Director – Marketing, Embee India, provides a SWOT analysis on the Indian textile industry, and the wish-list for the government.

Europe still dominates in textile technology, but India is no laggard. It has created its own niche. With 158 exhibitors at the present ITMA 2015, Indian textile machinery and spares industry has come a long way to spread its wings since 1975 when at the same Milan, India fielded a lone exhibitor. An ITJ Report previews the current scenario.

Jugal Kishore of Super Tex Industries, while talking to the ITJ team about the company´s plans for ITMA, says, ¨We are exporting our product to more than 25 countries around the world to the world class spinning mills. We expect to meet few more quality customers on the platform of ITMA 2015.¨
