The index of orders intake for Italian textile machinery compiled by ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, for the period from October-December 2020 was down by 5% compared to the same period in 2019.
Expotextil, the fair for the textile and garment sector in Peru, will be held from 24 to 27 October in Lima. At Expotextil there will also be a large representation of Italian textile machinery manufacturers.
The order index for Italian textile machinery carried out by ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers, for 2019 January-March period ranging from January to March 2019 dropped 3 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year.
ACIMIT represents an industrial sector comprising around 300 manufacturers (employing close to 12,000 people) and producing machinery for an overall value of about 2.9 billion euros, with exports amounting to more than 84 per cent of total sales.
For the second consecutive year, ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers), in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, has organised a collective venture at Irantex, the primary trade fair for the Iranian textile and textile machinery sector to be held in Tehran from 4 – 7 September 2017.
