A selection committee formed of the International Cotton Association (ICA) officers have appointed Bill Kingdon as their Managing Director following a rigorous and robust recruitment process. The ICA Officers worked closely with a recruitment agency to guarantee a professional and independent process to select a new managing director over a period of three months.

In recognition of his outstanding service to the Association, AATCC has named Kantilal (Kanti) A Jasani as the 2015 recipient of the Harold C. Chapin Award. A member of AATCC since 1972, Jasani has served the Association with honour and distinction.

With the election of Mrs Regina Brückner,, Managing Associate of Brückner Trockentechnik,, for the first time in its long history the VDMA Textile Machinery Association will be chaired by a woman. On the occasion of the members´ meeting of the Association in Lindau (Lake of Constance), the businesswoman from Leonberg (13 km West of Stuttgart) has been elected in place.
