Salil Nair promoted as Shoppers Stop CEO

Shoppers Stop has elevated Salil Nair to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 March 2014. He was working as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. In his new role as CEO, Nair will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the companys strategies, store operations, technological innovation, and more.

Govind Shrikhande, Customer Care Associate & Managing Director, Shoppers Stop, said, "I am proud and delighted to announce the promotion of Salil Nair to CEO of Shoppers Stop. In his last few years as COO, he has shown exceptional passion and has helped create a world-class shopping experience for our customers."

Nair adds, "I am excited with this new opportunity and all the possibilities that lie ahead of us."
