On the social front, RSWM’s CSR initiatives reached 2.44 lakh beneficiaries in FY25.

RSWM Limited, flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, launched its Sustainability Report FY2024-25, marking a significant step in its on-going commitment to sustainable growth. The report was released by Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman & MD and CEO, and Rajeev Gupta, Joint MD, reflecting RSWM’s focus on embedding sustainability across all operations.

Guided by its Panchtatva framework, inspired by the five elements, RSWM reported notable achievements in FY2024-25:

  • Water conservation: 2.2 million kilolitres saved with 100% reuse of treated wastewater through Zero Liquid Discharge systems.
  • Green energy consumption: 101.76 million kWh from solar and wind, representing 33 per cent dependency on renewables, above India’s national clean energy mix of 31 per cent.
  • Biofuel adoption: 14,714 MT of husk-based biofuel used in boilers, with a goal to transition all facilities to biofuels.
  • Circularity and recycling: 6.5 million PET bottles recycled daily, totalling 43,250 MT in FY2024-25; 38,270 MT recycled polyester and 11,674 MT organic cotton used in yarn and fabric production.
  • Organic initiatives: 91,611 kg of organic manure utilised to support soil health.

Commenting on the report, Riju Jhunjhunwala said, “Sustainability is both a responsibility and an opportunity. Through Panchtatva, we reimagine our industry by turning challenges into opportunities, embedding renewables, rethinking waste as a resource, and designing processes to maximise resilience. Our goal is to create a stronger, cleaner, and equitable legacy for future generations.”

Rajeev Gupta added, “Building on the visionary legacy of LN Jhunjhunwala ji, we are integrating business profitability with sustainability. Our focus on green energy, biofuel adoption, water management, circularity, and zero liquid discharge ensures measurable outcomes while scaling sustainability across the organisation.”

On the social front, RSWM’s CSR initiatives reached 2.44 lakh beneficiaries in FY25. The company continues to prioritise ethical governance, women’s participation, and inclusive growth across its workforce and leadership.

RSWM’s sustainable fibre portfolio spans organic and recycled cotton, linen, hemp, jute, and silk, validated through global certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000, GRS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Organic Content Standard (OCS), and BCI membership, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility, social accountability, and ethical governance.
