Major textile giant to begin production from December in Bengal
The state government would offer 100 acre of concessional land to Tempe Grupo Inditex (Zara).
Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister, West Bengal, announced that Tempe Grupo Inditex (Zara), a prominent player in the textile industry based in Spain, is anticipated to commence production in West Bengal before Christmas.
She mentioned that the state government would offer 100 acres of concessional land and provide full support to the company.
Banerjee shared, “An exciting development is on the horizon as Tempe Grupo Inditex (Zara), a major textile industry player, is expanding its operations. They are collaborating with private entities to relocate manufacturing to West Bengal, and production is scheduled to start before Christmas 2023,” she posted on X.
