TI Awards 2019 nominations now open

To recognise outstanding contributions to the global textile industries and/or the work of The Textile Institute, The TI presents Medals and Awards to global members and industry recipients, under the Institute’s Council authority. 
Nominations for the 2019 TI awards are now open. The Medals and Awards are a highlight in the Institute’s calendar of events and are held at various global locations. The UK venue for this year is not yet being revealed. 
The Textile Institute’s awards have a number of categories in key industry areas, such as: Sustainability, International Research and Innovation, New Materials and the Institute Medal for Design. If you know of any aspiring talent or feel someone needs to be recognised for their creative contribution, please complete the nomination form. 
Anyone interested in nominating someone, or an organisation, for an award or medal, has until 22 February 2019 to complete a nomination form. This can be found at: https://www.textileinstitute.org/medals-and-awards/medals-and-awards/
Previous winners of the awards include: HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Dato Prof Jimmy Choo, Paul Smith, Lenzing AG, Levi Strauss and Johnson & Johnson.
