Karnataka to soon have textile park: CM

According to Basavaraj Bommai, Chief
Minister, Karnataka, the era of development has begun in Haveri. He made an
announcement related to the setting up of a textile park in Shiggaon. 

Other than this, he also declared that this
industrial park will be developed in line with
the Mega Textile Park in Delhi. He also added that the government will develop
a 1,000-acre industrial corridor in Haveri due to which employment
opportunities will be created for the locals.

He also said that in the coming months the
lake filling projects which were initiated by BS Yediyurappa (former CM) will
be completed. He also made it clear that several talks are ongoing with the
experts regarding the upper Krishna project. As per him, the state government
is going to take up all water projects that include Ettinahole, Mahadayi.

The CM also said
that the target was to provide vaccination to 5 Lakh people every day and a
special vaccination drive will also be held so that the slum dwellers can also
be vaccinated. CM Bommai also told that Karnataka is the first state which has
implemented the NEP in higher education. He also spoke about the Haveri
Institute of Medical Science. As per him, the permanent building is under
construction and the academic activities will start in the coming 18 months.
During the same period, the construction work of one lakh litre capacity Ultra
Heat Treated milk packing unit will also be done.
