Industry eagerly waits for curtains to be raised of SIMA Texfair 2022

The Southern India Mills’ Association (SIMA) – representing the organised textile industry in South India is organising SIMA Texfair 2022, 13th edition in its series during June 24-27, 2022 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. SIMA has so far successfully conducted twelve exhibitions of textile machinery, accessories & spares since 2001.

The objectives of the fair is to provide a platform for the stake holder to zero in their investments and expenses prudently, showcase their inventions and cost effective items and other products, enable the technocrats and shop floor technicians to update their knowledge on the latest technology and create an awareness on cost cutting, to encourage micro, small and medium entrepreneurs also to showcase their products and get exposure to the market.

It is a highly economical fair with excellent services, organised by the user industry and being conducted at Coimbatore, which is the hub for textile business in India and the fair would be an ideal platform to showcase and market the products.

All manufacturers and suppliers of textile machinery and spares of ginning, spinning, weaving, processing, powerlooms, handlooms, knitting and garmenting will participate at the trade fair. Besides, manufacturers of textile testing equipment; items relating to effluent treatment; auxiliary equipment; accessories; pneumatic equipment and accessories; humidification plant and accessories; lubricants; energy saving equipment; electrical and electronic items; sizing materials, dyes and chemicals; packaging materials; textile software companies, etc, will also showcase their products at Texfair.

In the previous edition of Texfair, i.e. in 2019, 250 exhibitors showcased their products and services in 320 stalls. The Expos attracted about one lakh visitors and created business worth around Rs 1,000 crores. Business visitors from countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka visited the expo and derived the benefit, besides the visitors from all over the country.

SIMA Texfair provides an opportunity for various clusters of the industry to know the latest improvements in technology and availability of domestic as well as import substitution spares. This year also the expo is expected to garner huge response from the textile industry.
