BTRA has conducted comprehensive field density tests for L&T Package 1 and Package 3, ensuring that this monumental bridge meets the highest standards of construction.

The Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA) expresses its honour in playing a pivotal role in the transformational Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) project.

The dedicated team at BTRA has been actively involved in ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of the MTHL. They have conducted comprehensive field density tests for L&T Package 1 and Package 3, ensuring that this monumental bridge meets the highest standards of construction.

Moreover, BTRA took on the challenge of testing the waterproofing membranes for bridge deck, employing a range of assessments including shear strength, FTIR, tensile strain elongation, and more. These rigorous tests are a testament to BTRA’s commitment to delivering infrastructure that not only stands tall but also withstands the test of time.

“As the MTHL opens its gates to the public, we want to express our gratitude to our incredible team and collaborators who have made this achievement possible. It’s a moment to celebrate not just a bridge, but a symbol of connectivity and progress for Mumbai. Join us in marking this significant milestone, and here’s to the seamless journeys, strengthened foundations, and the enduring legacy of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link,” mentions BTRA in a press release.
