The exhibition once again delivered strong engagement for FET, attracting significant interest from countries across the region.

Fibre Extrusion Technology (FET), based in Leeds, UK, has successfully concluded its second major showcase of 2025 at ITMA ASIA in Singapore—one of the key platforms for the textile and garment industry across South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The exhibition once again delivered strong engagement for FET, attracting significant interest from countries across the region.

With Southeast Asia emerging as a hub for advanced technical textile development, FET continues to strengthen its presence, supported by long-standing relationships built over the past two decades. The company’s expanding portfolio of extrusion systems is widely deployed across the region, complemented by a network of specialist technical agents throughout Asia. FET aims to further grow this service footprint in the coming years.

FET designs, develops and manufactures advanced extrusion equipment used for a wide range of high-value textile material applications worldwide. Its participation in global exhibitions reflects the company’s increasing relevance across diverse segments of the textile and materials industry.

The company will conclude its 2025 exhibition calendar at COMPAMED 2025, scheduled from 17–20 November in Düsseldorf, Germany. Recognised as a premier international event for the medical technology supplier sector, COMPAMED will host FET in Hall 08B, Stand 8BJ09.

“Our presence at these major exhibitions allows us to connect with customers globally and reinforces our growing influence across technical textiles, medical device innovation and several emerging sectors,” said Richard Slack, Managing Director, FET.

This momentum will continue at COMPAMED with the launch of the FET-500 Series gel spinning systems, designed to transform c R&D by delivering major advantages in cost, operational footprint and environmental impact.

To support the launch, Dr Kristoffer Kortsen, Senior Material & Process Scientist at FET, will deliver a presentation introducing the novel process and equipment behind the FET-500 Series. His talk, scheduled for 4:30 pm on Monday, November 17, will highlight the system’s agile, user-friendly research capabilities. Dr Kortsen leads the technical development of the FET-500 Series and brings extensive expertise in polymer synthesis, recycling and processing from both academic and industry roles.
