Each PM MITRA park to create 3 lakh direct and indirect jobs: Giriraj Singh

The government’s support for Andhra Pradesh’s industrial growth extends beyond textile parks, as several schemes are being implemented to strengthen infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities.

The Indian government has announced the establishment of three new textile parks in Andhra Pradesh as part of its on-going efforts to boost industrialization in the state. These parks—Hindupur Vyapar Apparel Park in Anantapuramu, Tarakeswara Textile Park in Nellore, and Guntur Textile Park in Guntur—have been allocated funds of Rs 1.02 billion, Rs 1.03 billion, and Rs 1.05 billion, respectively.

In addition to these developments, the Brandix India Apparel Park in Visakhapatnam has been successfully completed under a similar initiative, with an investment of Rs 1.34 billion. The government’s support for Andhra Pradesh’s industrial growth extends beyond textile parks, as several schemes are being implemented to strengthen infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities.

As part of the Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises has allocated Rs 490.66 million to the state for infrastructure development in the 2025 financial year. Furthermore, Andhra Pradesh has received approval for three industrial projects under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. The National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust has disbursed over Rs 5.31 billion in the past five years to support these projects.

These initiatives reflect the central government’s commitment to fostering industrial expansion in Andhra Pradesh, ensuring enhanced economic opportunities and infrastructural growth in the textile and manufacturing sectors.
