New printer targets low-cost, high-versatility fabric printing.

ColorJet Group has introduced VastraJet Elite, a cost-efficient digital textile printer aimed at entrepreneurs, startups and job workers entering fabric printing with minimal investment and flexible production capabilities.

The company will showcase the new printer through a live demonstration at the Knit-Tech Exhibition, scheduled from March 6 to 9 in Tirupur, allowing visitors to observe its performance and production efficiency.

Configured with eight KM print heads and an eight-colour system, VastraJet Elite offers a production capacity of up to 3,200 square metres per day. The machine is designed to help emerging businesses manage niche production requirements efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and profitability. It addresses growing industry demand for customised products, shorter production runs and faster turnaround times by enabling users to handle diverse printing applications at lower operational costs.

Developed to support new ventures in textile printing, the system enables users to produce a range of items, including stoles, dupattas, shoes, bags, cushions, table runners, table covers and fashion apparel. The printer allows businesses to serve multiple niche segments without requiring extensive infrastructure or large-scale production commitments.

With increasing demand from boutique fashion brands, home décor startups and customised merchandise sellers, the company said the solution helps businesses manage short-run orders profitably, reduce inventory risks, minimise setup time and expand product offerings with high-quality output.

Speaking on the launch, Arun Varshney, Vice President and Business Head – Textile Business, ColorJet, said, “VastraJet Elite is not just a machine; it’s an opportunity. We wanted to create a solution that lowers the barrier to entry for textile printing businesses while ensuring quality and scalability. This printer allows aspiring entrepreneurs to confidently step into digital textile printing and grow steadily. The core philosophy behind VastraJet Elite is simple — maximize output while minimizing cost.”

The launch reflects the company’s focus on supporting new-age textile entrepreneurs and enabling businesses to explore emerging opportunities in digital textile printing.
