Rashmi Verma is Secretary – Textiles, Ministry of Textiles under the Government of India. Verma, a 1982 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, took over the charge as the new Secretary, Ministry of Textiles from January 1, 2016. Earlier, she was the Special Secretary in the Department of Revenue in Ministry of Finance. Verma has a very rich, vast and varied experience at various key positions at the Centre and State level.
