US-based home textile company Nextt, which is as a key supplier to big retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl´s, Dillard´s, etc., may soon introduce its popular brands to Indian market, according to its CEO Arun Agarwal who has been in India to explore what he says ´Make in India´ possibilities.

The Ministry of Textiles (MoT) has launched Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP) in the year 2005 to provide the industry with state-of-the-art world-class infrastructure facilities for setting up of the textile units. The scheme provides 40 per cent of the project cost subject to a ceiling of Rs 40 crore for establishing the park. About 70 textile parks have been benefited out the scheme.

Registration is now open for the International Cotton Association´s (ICA) next major trade event – ´San Francisco 2015´. Taking place on October 30-31 and with over 700 delegates expected, San Francisco 2015 will be one of the highlights of the cotton calendar.
