SSM appoints new area sales manager for Far East

Since April 1, 2015, Peter Spiller has taken over the sales area from Horst Lüchinger, which is going to be retired. Spiller will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the well-known SSM products in the Far Eastern region. For more than sixteen years, Lüchinger earned large merits in organising and establishing SSM´s presence in the Far East. SSM thanks him dearly for these services rendered, and especially for his very energetic pursuit of sales lead all over Asia.

Spiller looks back to a great history in the textile industry. After graduating as textile engineer from the College of Technology in Rapperswil, Switzerland, he joined Sulzer Rüti, as design engineer. Later on he moved into sales, where his new function led him to various foreign assignments in the USA, Japan and South Africa. His long experience in the textile machinery area is an enrichment for SSM.

Despite the competitive situation in the textile machinery business, SSM has been able to maintain its market leadership and to excel within the holding company Schweiter Technologies.
