Mumbai, Maharashtra

BlissClub, a
Mumbai-based women’s activewear brand, has managed to raise $ 2.25 million
through seed funding led by Elevation Capital. The proceeds will be used for
strengthening the team and in product development. According to Minu Margeret,
founder, BlissClub, the current activewear brands focus largely on men. There
are very limited options for female activewear. So, the brand has specially
designed options for women that are of good quality and are comfortable for
Indian female body types. Currently, BlissClub has a group of 15,000 women
across Whatsapp and Instagram.

As per Chirag
Chadha, Associate Vice President, Elevation Capital, activewear has 20% of
total apparel sales in the global market, but in India,
it has less than 3% share. Also, the size of female activewear is 4% less than
male activewear. He said that BlissClub has tried to identify a big product gap
in this space.

‘The Ultimate
Leggings’ are specially designed for Indian female body type with a super high
waist and pockets that can allow women to wear them for a longer duration.
