OEM-certified remanufacturing solution is designed to improve efficiency, uptime, and long-term asset value~

Atlas Copco has strengthened its lifecycle solutions portfolio with the introduction of the Reman Program under the RePower Centre within its Power Technique Customer Centre. The initiative delivers an OEM-certified remanufacturing solution that restores compressors to original factory specifications while helping customers optimize performance, extend equipment lifespan, and reduce total cost of ownership through a sustainable refurbishment approach.

The program supports industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, textiles, cement, steel, infrastructure, and general manufacturing, where equipment reliability and operational continuity remain critical. By enabling customers to restore equipment performance without complete replacement, the Reman Program offers a cost-efficient and dependable alternative aligned with evolving industrial requirements.

Built on a structured, factory-controlled process, the Reman Program ensures performance equivalent to original equipment standards. Compressors are systematically disassembled, inspected, and restored using genuine, quality-assured components. Critical systems including air ends, drive interfaces, cooling assemblies, and controller modules are recalibrated to OEM specifications, followed by rigorous testing processes covering airflow validation, pressure checks, safety assessments, and final performance verification before deployment.

The Reman Program is designed to help customers:

  • Restore compressor performance to factory standards
  • Improve equipment uptime and operational reliability
  • Extend equipment lifecycle
  • Reduce replacement and maintenance costs
  • Support sustainable asset utilization practices

Prasanna Kulkarni, General Manager – Power Technique Customer Center, India, Atlas Copco, said, “Industries today are increasingly looking for smarter and more sustainable ways to improve operational efficiency while optimizing costs. Through our Reman Program, we are enabling customers to maximize the value of existing assets with a certified solution that enhances reliability, extends equipment life, and supports long-term productivity.”

Through the Reman Program, the RePower Centre further strengthens Atlas Copco’s focus on enabling efficient lifecycle management solutions for industrial customers. By restoring existing systems instead of replacing them entirely, the initiative supports improved asset utilization, reduced operational disruption, and more sustainable industrial operations.

With growing industry focus on productivity, reliability, and sustainability, OEM-certified remanufacturing is increasingly emerging as a practical and future-ready approach for maintaining consistent equipment performance across demanding industrial environments.
