Active Clothing Company experienced a surge of 13.56 per cent, reaching Rs 123 after announcing a contract manufacturing agreement with Puma Sports India.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), over 842,000 shares of the company traded hands, significantly higher than the average trading volume of 32,000 shares over the past two weeks.

During the current trading session, the stock has reached a high of Rs 129.97 and a low of Rs 108.50.

In a regulatory filing made during market hours, the garments manufacturer indicated that it aims to expand its customer base by partnering with multinational companies and has signed a manufacturing agreement with Puma Sports India to serve as a ‘T-1 supplier.’

Active Clothing Company specialises in manufacturing and trading ready-made garments for various brands, including Levi’s, Pepe, Flying Machine, Ed Hardy, Nike, and United Colors of Benetton. The company also engages in trading through distribution and retail channels and operates two manufacturing facilities in Mohali and Fatehgarh Sahib, both located in Punjab.

The company’s net profit rose by 63.51 per cent to Rs 10.21 million, supported by a 3.99 per cent increase in sales, totalling Rs 460.43 million in the first quarter of FY25 compared to the same quarter in FY24.
