SAVIO conducts series of seminars in India

Savio organised seminars in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vijayawada, Madurai and Coimbatore areas, and is planning to cover more areas in the second phase.

As a part of its marketing activity for 2015, SAVIO took the opportunity to refresh and update the customers on the developments and new implementations at SAVIO through series of seminars in prominent areas like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. In the first phase, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vijayawada, Madurai and Coimbatore areas were covered and other areas will be covered in the second phase.

On April 24, a seminar at Ahmedabad was organised at Courtyard Marriott, and in Rajkot, it was held at The Imperial Palace on April 25. At Vijayawada, the seminar was conducted at Taj Gateway Hotel on April 27. Later during May 22, SAVIO had organised a seminar at The Fortune Pandian Hotel, Madurai and the next day gathered its customers at Taj Vivanta, Coimbatore for a grand Symposium.

Dr Gabriele Checchini, CEO and Managing Director of SAVIO India Limited, gave a brief on the company´s activities in India and its commitment towards the service with all aspects. Prior to that, he officially announced Soham Enterprises headed by Prashant Mandke as the agent for Gujarat region and Excel Syndicates headed by Haribasker as the agent for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region.

Valter De Carli, Regional Sales Vice President, SAVIO Macchine Tessili S.p.A., Italy gave the presentation, which covered ´ right from the history of SAVIO and a brief on its activity worldwide, information on world market share, etc. He highlighted that SAVIO is always being the pioneer in introducing new technologies ´ first to introduce automatic winders, first to give the link version, first to introduce electronic machine, first to provide 72 spindles in round magazine model, etc.

He added that SAVIO now offers 80 spindle machine in round magazine type in Polar. He also shared SAVIO new acquisition ´ Mesdan, the world renowned splicer manufacturers. This is a perfect solution for special yarns like tensel, modal and elastomeric core yarn application. SAVIO also has its exclusive and unique own made mechanical splicer called twin splicer which is the best splicer for Lycra core and compact yarn process.

SAVIO uses direct linking system ´ I/DLS and for intermediate solution of automation offers Polar E Premium in both single and duo lot he said. In both standalone and link the smart station is offered which is dedicated for attending rejected cops from preparators due to bad shape and on textile faults by the spindle. The Smart Station takes care of these cop rejections which offers the user directly 25 per cent savings in labor cost ´ only available with SAVIO. With the modular layout, Savio offers unlimited flexibility of extending spindles, thanks to the new modular layout, the preparator stations sit near to the spindles to provide better bobbin distribution till 72 bobbins/ minute. He went in depth on the technological care SAVIO is taking towards ensuring the precise length on cones by inbuilt sensors, standard C.A.T ´ online tension monitoring system and unique anti-patterning system with minimum disturbance to the package which is totally different from others. The information shared on SAVIO´s direct investment in India, SAVIO India through some light on its activities to the visitors. Situated in Coimbatore is the present manufacturing hub of twisters both SIRIUS and COSMOS to the entire world market. Now SAVIO has grabbed more than 60 per cent market share in India on high end segment and the factory is running at its full capacity under the authority of Dr Checchini.
