ANDRITZ Wuxi Nonwoven Technology, China, is a competence centre for manufacturing, service, and R&D for the nonwovens industry. Highly skilled process engineers support customers in product development, trials, and overhauling of rolls for nonwoven and textile applications. The state-of-the-art technical centre in Wuxi provides customers both a service roll center and an industrial scale needle punch line. A part of this line, the A.30 aXcess needleloom range, is available in down-stroke (SD) and up-stroke (SM) set-up. This is particularly suited for high-quality pre-needling in processing of automotive felts, filtration, and geotextile applications at proven industrial speeds up to 1,200 rpm, with working widths up to six meters.

As all-round partner for the nonwovens industry, ANDRITZ Wuxi concentrates on design, manufacture, installation, and start-up of nonwovens aXcess lines, which focus on producers with medium-capacity requirements especially in emerging markets, combining the advantages of various technologies and providing reliable solutions in all nonwovens segments from hygiene to geotextiles, coating substrates, filtration, or automotive applications. In the workshop in Wuxi, complete lines and individual machines are pre-assembled before delivery. ANDRITZ also manufactures key components locally, such as crosslappers, cards, drafters, needlelooms, and hydroentanglement systems. In addition, ANDRITZ Wuxi offers tailored combinations of the ANDRITZ eXcelle range.

ANDRITZ neXline spunlace aXcess: designed in Europe, made in China
Based on European technology, ANDRITZ Wuxi Nonwoven Technology also offers full-line solutions, for example the neXline spunlace aXcess line. This complete spunlace production line includes an ANDRITZ carding system (CA21) and a Jetlace Avantage hydroentanglement unit ? a concept designed for the production of lightweight fabrics at low operating costs. Based on years of experience with these systems, ANDRITZ Wuxi Nonwoven Technology has now developed a new carding machine, the aXcess Varioweb card with three doffers, for the production of state-of-the-art spunlace fabrics of highest web uniformity. Through constant exchange of technology and market expertise, the strong global ANDRITZ network ensures full and best possible support to local customers and partners.

At ANEX-SINCE 2015, ANDRITZ Nonwoven will also present its latest generation of through-air dryers, which complete the aXcess range for spunlace producers. This compact dryer can be integrated perfectly into the neXline spunlace aXcess and offers two types of heaters (gas burner or oil heat exchangers). The proven rope infeed system allows easy web feeding into the dryer.

ANDRITZ will be presenting its innovative nonwovens production solutions at ANEX-SINCE 2015 in Shanghai, China (May 13-15, hall 1, booth H20).
