Reggiani, together with its US Agent NextWave, presented ReNOIR pigment digital printing, the new technological solution. Pigment-ONE application, especially studied for textile solutions has been introduced during SGIA event, held in Las Vegas, US, and captured the visitors’ attention thanks to its high quality and performances.

ReNOIR has been pigment tailored in order to deliver a high quality and efficient pigment print. The result is an easy-to-manage machine producing precise print with prolonged and elevated runability. With the sole purpose of finding positive solutions for each step of the process, Reggiani has worked on the whole printing process drawing up the preparation as well as the fixation and finishing phases.

The outcome is a simplified process, which requires no steaming and no washing, thus reducing the process steps and dramatically decreasing the amount of water, energy and spaces usually needed as well as the emitted pollution. According to Reggiani, pigment means less time, less costs and benefits for the environment, always maintaining the quality and the hand feel. Reggiani has fine-tuned a finishing process which makes the pigment solution flexible and adaptable to all the possible necessities of the client: Stiff hand for home furniture and outdoor textile and soft hand for fashion. Reggiani guarantees printability of any kind of fabric. The technical results have been certified by independent and external laboratories according to the international standards of the industry, confirming a rubbing fastness in the range of 5/5. With regard to the light fastness of the pigment, the results are confirming that the Reggiani process is able to fit also the outdoor.

Visitor numbers at Reggiani and NextWave booth were encouraging and the staff welcomed numerous customers onto the stand who were sincerely impressed with the performances and superiority of Reggiani machine. Many enthusiastic comments contribute to Reggiani success. SGIA was for Reggiani a particularly active exhibition, rich in innovations and with high technological content.
