Mönchengladbach, Germany

The family-owned Trützschler company
has created a charitable foundation – the Trützschler Foundation, focussing on
supporting children and young people with learning, education, sport, exercise,
science and research.

Caroline Lange, member, of the
Foundation’s Board of Directors, said that, as part of the fifth Trützschler
generation, they have a social responsibility that would like to express in a
special way through the Trützschler Foundation. She added that the foundation
is a supporter and companion and would like to offer young adults equal
opportunities for education and support for personal, free development.

Many exciting projects are already in
the planning stage. The initial focus is on supporting local educational and
sports projects for children and youths in the Mönchengladbach area. In the
long-term, the Foundation also wants to get involved beyond the limits of
Mönchengladbach. At its production sites in USA, Brazil, India and China,
Trützschler has been supporting charitable projects for many years, such as the
German Language and Culture Foundation in North Carolina or the Trützschler
Training Academy in India. Social commitment as part of the Trützschler DNA
Social commitment and the dedication to sound training opportunities for youths
and young adults have a long tradition at Trützschler. At the parent plant in
Mönchengladbach, young people have been accompanied on their way to their first
vocational qualification for more than 70 years.

The Trützschler Foundation is closely
connected to the Trützschler company but acts independently. Its goal is to
accompany children and young people on their way into the future and to support
them in taking a responsible place in society. The goal is to create
sustainable added value through financial and partnership support for concrete
projects in the areas of education, sport and research.

The Trützschler Group is a German textile machinery
manufacturer headquartered in Mönchengladbach, Germany. The family business is
divided into the business units Spinning, Nonwovens, Man-Made Fibers and Card
Clothing. Machines, installations and accessories for spinning preparation, the
nonwovens and man-made fibre industry are produced in nine locations worldwide.

In addition to four factories in
Germany (Mönchengladbach, Dülmen, Egelsbach, Neubulach), Trützschler has
production sites in China (Shanghai, Jiaxing), India (Ahmedabad), USA
(Charlotte) and Brazil (Curitiba) as well as a development location in
Switzerland (Winterthur). Service companies are located in Turkey, Mexico and
Uzbekistan as well as service bases in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia and
Pakistan. They ensure customer proximity in other important textile processing
markets.
